Hotel Information: This casual Cancun resort attracts couples and families seeking a lively, social ambience and active vacations.
Amenity highlights: An L-shaped activities pool with swim-up bar lies at the top level of sunbathing terraces overlooking the sea. An irregularly shaped lower-level pool contains waterfalls, tile lounging beds, and a separate children's section. Adjacent to this pool lies a blossom-shaped spa tub accommodating 25 guests. Staircases lead down to the beach and Kuku's Bar, which features a 40-person spa tub with bar stools on one side and rope swings on the other.
Insider tip: Although small Mayan ruins are scattered around Cancún Island, the principal archeological site is El Rey, 1 km (0.75 mi) from the resort.

Guestrooms include either balconies or enclosed, step-down sitting areas with large windows--both furnished with chairs and cocktail tables.
